IoT4Ag Pathway to Ph.D. Program

Are you interested in a graduate education in science and engineering? If yes, then please consider attending a hands-on workshop to walk you through applying to Ph.D. programs and funding opportunities. The “Pathway to Ph.D.” (PPP) program is sponsored by The Internet of Things for Precision Agriculture (IoT4Ag) Engineering Research Center, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

The program will take place virtually on September 10th 2022.

Program

IoT4Ag seeks motivated undergraduate students who wish to (1) learn about the graduate school admission process and factors that contribute to a strong graduate school application, (2) gain an understanding of the components of fellowship opportunities like the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program application, and (3) write a personal statement and a research plan for select program funding opportunities. Due to the intensive, hands-on nature of the workshop, interested students must apply. Selected students will participate in a virtual workshop where they will be mentored by NSF-ERC-affiliated faculty members and graduate students, many of whom are former and/or current NSF Fellows.
