Hello everyone! It was a great workshop meeting last night, thank you all for attending. As promised we are going to share opportunities with you, and here is one that has come our way:
Join us virtually for a physics and astronomy, computer science/engineering, and the mathematical sciences Research Opportunities for Undergraduates (REU) workshop on Saturday, November 19th at 10 AM PST!
During this virtual workshop, REU participants will provide an in-depth introduction to internships in the above disciplines!
In particular, we will discuss:
Benefits of participating in research
Various research opportunities at the departmental, university, and national level
The requirements of the standard internship application
In addition to:
A Q&A panel of students who’ve participated in an REU within your discipline!
