Want to solve a Google engineering challenge? Hash Code, Google’s team programming competition, is back for 2021 — register today at g.co/hashcode! Whether you’re new to coding or you’ve been participating in programming competitions for years, Hash Code is a great opportunity to practice your coding skills, meet other developers, and have some fun.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The Online Qualifications will take place on Thursday, February 25. This year’s competition is completely virtual, so you can compete from wherever you’d like.
  • You compete with a team. You need to form a team of 2 to 4 people to participate. If you don’t have a team, don’t worry! You can still register now and find teammates later using our Facebook group.
  • Virtual Hubs add even more excitement to the competition. Hubs are virtual meetups where teams from the same local area, office, or university can come together to compete in the Online Qualifications. Competing from a virtual Hub is a great way to connect with other developers in your community.
  • Virtual World Finals. Top teams from February’s Online Qualifications will be invited to the Virtual World Finals in April.

Are you up for the challenge? Register today!

Make sure you don’t miss out on the action by first creating a Coding Competitions profile for 2021, and then registering for Hash Code 2021. You can always check the Schedule page to confirm you’ve successfully registered.
