Future Faculty Career Exploration Program
We had an overwhelming number of requests for more time to submit applications for our Future Faculty Career Exploration Program. I am pleased to let you know that we have decided to extend the application deadline. We will now be accepting applications through Wednesday, March 31st. Program and application information: https://bit.ly/3bNQTPA
This program is a rigorous four-day program designed for African American, Latino American, and Native American scholars and artists to experience a “behind the scenes” glimpse into life as a faculty member at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Participants will spend time learning from and networking with RIT administration, faculty and students, practicing their interview skills and job-talk presentation – all while exploring the research, teaching and service expectations of RIT faculty. We continue to follow all NYS and CDC guidelines on gatherings and remain quite hopeful for an in-person 2021 program. Should conditions not allow for us to safely do so, we will instead offer a virtual option for admitted participants.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. I appreciate you helping to us reach potential applicants.
