DoD Cybersecurity workshop

This opportunity is for students in computer science/information technology/cybersecurity programs.

This is a Department of Defense (DoD) funded opportunity to learn about and engage in a Capture The Flag cyber challenge experience. March 25: “Gamified Learning Experience with Use of Ciphers in CTFs “The DoD funded Cyber Education Diversity Initiative (CEDI) Coalition Program was created with the purpose of developing lasting support systems for students in Minority Serving institutions (MSI)s and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)s.As part of a coalition of nine partner NCAE-C designated academic institutions, the Cybersecurity Education, Research and Outreach Center (CEROC) at Tennessee Tech is serving as a resource for MSIs and HBCUs and provide different services to the students and faculty of these institutions. Tennessee Tech CyberEagles Cyber Interest group in CTF will conduct a workshop for students in HBCUs and MSIs seeking to gain some experience with Capture The Flag (CTF) activity. The workshop will introduce students to common ciphers and then engage them in cipher based CTF challenges within a peer learning environment.
