GMiS Conference in October 2021 – plan to go!

The 33rd Annual Great Minds in STEM Conference is less than 4-months away! This virtual conference taking place October 11-22, 2021 will bring our partners First-Class Diversity in effort to provide access to World-Class STEM Talent!

As our country emerges from these unprecedented times, GMiS remains committed to motivating our underserved and underrepresented students with STEM academic and professional journeys. By working collaboratively, we can continue to provide students the resources they need to be strategic in their perseverance and success. We do this by:

STEM Career-Readiness Coaching Sessions – Final Slots Left! (page 12)

Opportunity to host up to 20 college students in a 45-minute session and address one of the following STEM Career-Readiness topics:
– Resume Review
– Curating your Social Media Footprint
– Developing your LinkedIn Profile
– Virtual Behavioral Interviews
– Personal Branding/Image
– Confidence Building

Premier Plenary (page 9)

Live webinar session featuring a panel of STEM leaders on a trending topic of national interest. The session is scheduled for 60-minutes and will be recorded and made available on GMiS Conference website and YouTube channel.

Webinars (page 11)

Webinars provide an excellent venue to showcase your company’s technological innovations, and share best practices on how to navigate the online recruitment process.

CAHSI Machine Learning Workshop (page 15)

Students will discover why machine learning has become one of the most influential and widespread technologies in modern society. Participants will learn how machine learning problems are framed, acquiring a basic understanding of how artificial neural networks work.
