How we got started with Drone Tech: Merced College participated in the Rising Data Training at Fresno State, which was funded by NASA, and was a collaboration with Sonoma State. This training assisted in the creation of the drone classes and drone cerificated pathways at Merced College. The first class happened in Spring 2018, with many students being successful. Drone Technology classes are offered at Merced College, and other community colleges in california.
